Sketch N Stash challenge #126

Oh I'm really getting good at this 3 cards all in one day lol.

There is another fabulous sketch at 

Sketch N Stash 

and here it is!

And this in my card!

I used a lili of the valley pre coloured image from one of there art pads (set 16 Christmas Angels)

these Images are gorgeous I picked them up at my recent trip to the secc in Glasgow along with a few other bits. I raided my stash of Christmas paper and used my new flowers that I picked up just this week at hobycraft along with the little stick on pearls.

I dont think you can pick it up in my (atrocious picture) but the white paper in the back is embossed it was bought like this I'm sure it was Kanban card stock.

Meljens Challenge #187 Black out

Fabby Dabby news over at Meljens as well as having a sale still in the shop till the end of the month. 

Meljens design team

are looking for not one but two guest design team members.

I'm not the most confident person about my cards but after my card being chosen as top 3 last week and a good talking to from the other half I have decided to enter.

The them this week is Black out.

You must use a black card blank for the base of your card. I also decided to mat and layer everything in black and am delighted with the results. I used a poinsettia die to cut my flower and a sentiment from a digital designer cd rom and the image I picked was called Snowman Cupcake and you will find it here

so here is my card.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #233

I love this Santa image from the home and heart collection by create it.

I also love this circle sentiment stamp which I picked up in Hobycraft last week.

It has been so good rummaging through all my paper stash again and I have a confession to make I love paper. lol.

Crafty cardmakers paper piecing

Well another challenge that I found that I just had to have a go at! 

Until quite recently I wasn't a huge fan of stamping but am liking it more and more.

This challenge is paper piecing and it is something that I have done before but not for a very long time.

Anyway as soon as I saw this challenge I know just the stamp begging to be pieced together and exactly what I wanted to do with it! Don't you just love when that happens.

This is my card.

I just bought this stamp although I do believe it is an old one by Kanban.

As I've said I have a huge stash that has lay neglected for ages and it is great to be rummaging in it again. 

Once I started piecing I just wanted to keep going was planing to do the skirt of her dress but ended up doing the bodice and her star wand and the star in her hair as well the rest I coloured in for the much needed practice using my spectrum noir pens and I love it.

I am going to enter this into the paper piecing challenge at 

Crafty Cardmakers.

I love Meljens designs

In all my time away from crafting and card making in particular there was one thing I missed more than everything else and it was using meljens designs digi stamps I tried so hard to incorporate them in everything I did but nothing was quite the same as making a card so I am delighted to have made this as my first challenge card.

The theme this week is in a word and that was a challenge using only one work. but I did it and am quite please with it.

here's my card.

I used an image that I printed from a docrafts forever friends CD ROM that I have all the other bits were from my stash except my newly purchases sentiment digi from meljens designs.

Sketch N Stash challenge #125

I'm on a roll I'm back again with another card and oh so soon I cant quite believe it myself.

this time its again following a sketch but this time from 

Sketch N Stash 

and this is there sketch

As well as the sketch there is a optional them of fairy tail which I decided not to use this time,

 but I did dip into my very, very neglected stash and pull out loads

 inc, Kanban wobblers stamps and papers. I'm not sure how long I've had these but it has been ages anyway.

I have been using quite small 5x5 inch cards so fitting this theme on I found quite a challenge as there was lots of layers but it was a challenge I enjoyed.

anyhow here is my card!

(again please excuse mt photography as my picture tacking leaves a lot to be desired).

loved joining in with this Challenge and will hopefully be a return visitor.
